ERKE: Rhythm of Youth Fashion Show
Sportswear brand ERKE celebrated its 13th year in Myanmar with the Rhythm of Youth fashion show, introducing new women's sports, outdoor and lifestyle collections. Ruder Finn Era delivered the event, KOL collaborations and digital amplification, drawing more than 5,500 visitors and over 400 participants in on-site games and activities.
The challenge
ERKE had been in Myanmar for 13 years, long enough to be familiar but at risk of feeling established rather than exciting in a fast-growing athleisure market. The anniversary was a chance to reinforce its position as a youthful, energetic and globally inspired sportswear brand.
The brand also had new collections to introduce, spanning women's sports, outdoor and lifestyle, and it wanted to connect with the next generation of consumers through an immersive, aspirational experience rather than a product announcement.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era built an engagement strategy on three pillars: entertainment, influence and experience. The Rhythm of Youth fashion show became the centrepiece, staged in a public mall setting where the runway and dance performances could draw a crowd as well as an invited audience.
Around the show, the team ran on-ground activations with games and activities, collaborated with KOLs to bring their followers into the experience, and amplified the event digitally to reach youth audiences beyond the venue. The integrated approach showcased ERKE's product innovation and dynamic identity, reinforcing its sporty yet stylish image and positioning it as a leading player in Myanmar's athleisure market.
The results
More than 5,500 people came through the event and over 400 took part in the games and activities, giving a 13-year-old brand a distinctly young audience.
