L'Oreal Paris Elseve: Local Faces for Cambodian Haircare
L'Oreal Paris needed Elseve haircare content that spoke to Cambodian consumers rather than relying on global imagery. Ruder Finn Era produced a dedicated local photoshoot with a well-known Cambodian talent, creating a flexible asset bank that now supports multiple Elseve collections in Cambodia, speeds up campaign execution and keeps the brand's premium image consistent across digital platforms.
The challenge
Global beauty brands in Cambodia often communicate through imagery made for other markets, which limits how authentically they can connect with local consumers. For L'Oreal Paris Elseve the gap mattered across a wide range of haircare campaigns and product lines, each needing visuals that reflected local beauty aspirations and routines.
The brand needed a library of localised visual assets strong enough to carry premium positioning, flexible enough to adapt across collections, and produced efficiently enough to reduce reliance on global materials.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era proposed a single, well-planned local production instead of piecemeal adaptation. The team produced a dedicated haircare photoshoot featuring a well-known Cambodian talent, managed end to end from talent management to art direction, in settings that reflected local beauty aspirations and everyday haircare routines.
The shoot was designed for reuse: high-quality assets composed so they could be adapted across multiple Elseve collections while keeping branding consistent, giving the local team creative flexibility without repeated production costs and a bank of imagery ready for new launches as they arrive.
The results
The localised asset bank now supports faster campaign execution and more market-relevant communication while preserving the brand's premium image across digital platforms.
