Alliance Laundry Systems: Thailand as a Regional Manufacturing Hub
Alliance Laundry Systems asked Ruder Finn Era to host journalists from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Laos at its Chonburi plant and STAR LAB in May 2026, positioning Thailand as its regional manufacturing hub within the disclosure limits of a listed company, and reaching 12.5 million people.
The challenge
Alliance Laundry Systems, the world's largest commercial laundry manufacturer, wanted its Thai plant recognised across Southeast Asia as a centre of manufacturing excellence. As a listed company it had to do so without forward looking statements, in front of journalists from five countries with different expectations.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era acted as the regional hub, bringing journalists from five markets to Chonburi for a plant and laboratory visit, briefing spokespeople on what could and could not be said, and coordinating coverage through its own teams in each market so the story landed locally in each language.
