Chi Longevity: Making Science the Story

In a Singapore longevity market crowded with unregulated clinics, Chi Longevity needed to be seen as the evidence based authority. Ruder Finn Era staged a media day and launch that positioned it as a multi expert scientific institution rather than a single founder clinic: 16 articles in Bloomberg, The Straits Times, South China Morning Post and The Business Times, with an estimated reach of 25 million.

The challenge

Singapore's longevity category had filled with wellness clinics making claims they could not substantiate, and public trust had eroded with it. Chi Longevity had what they lacked: Professor Andrea Maier's 25 years of clinical experience, more than 450 peer reviewed publications and advisory roles at the WHO and UN. The risk was being heard as one more voice in the noise, or as one person's clinic.

Our solution

We widened the story beyond Professor Maier to present Chi as a multidisciplinary institution. An exclusive media day combined a private tour of the Camden clinic and an executive roundtable with the official launch at the Four Seasons, giving journalists one on one interviews, hands on diagnostics and direct access to the wider team of experts.

The Sparkd acquisition was announced in the same window, extending the narrative into brain and body science and reinforcing Chi as a scientific platform. Targeting spanned lifestyle, luxury, business, finance and general news, so high net worth clients and the industry heard the same story at the same time.

The results

16media articles
25.3Mestimated reach

Coverage landed in tier one, category defining outlets including Bloomberg, The Straits Times, South China Morning Post, The Business Times, Singapore Business Review and Money FM 89.3, validating Chi's position as a science led institution.
