TECNO: Powering Up the Pouvoir 4 Launch
TECNO Mobile asked Ruder Finn Era to launch its new mid-range Pouvoir 4 series in Myanmar, with awareness of the phone's 6,000 mAh battery as the single objective. The social launch campaign delivered 1,203,994 impressions and 89,000 engagements at an average engagement rate of 11.9 percent over the launch period.
The challenge
TECNO was entering Myanmar's crowded mid-range smartphone segment, where new models from several Chinese brands arrive every few months and few consumers can tell them apart. Mid-range buyers choose on price and battery life more than on brand.
The Pouvoir 4 had one clear point of difference, a 6,000 mAh battery, and the launch objective was to make that single feature known and desirable among Myanmar's mobile-first audience, for whom a phone that lasts the day is a genuine reason to switch.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era built the launch campaign around the battery as the hero, translating a specification into everyday benefit for users who rely on their phone all day and cannot always charge it.
The launch ran across TECNO Myanmar's social channels, where product content was paired with engagement mechanics to keep the battery message in circulation through the launch window. Content was designed for engagement rather than reach alone, which is reflected in an average engagement rate well above the category norm.
