Wildcats: #myimpacthour, One Hour for Impact
Wildcats ran #myimpacthour, a global CSR campaign built on the idea that small individual actions add up to real social impact during the pandemic. Ruder Finn Era scripted and produced KOL video content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in Vietnam, generating 148,000 views and more than 13,958 reactions for the movement.
The challenge
During the pandemic, the desire to help was widespread but the sense of being able to make a difference was not. Wildcats, the global entrepreneurship platform, launched #myimpacthour as a CSR movement built on one idea: everyone can give an hour, and small contributions add up to significant social impact.
In Vietnam the campaign needed to turn a global hashtag into local participation. That meant persuading young people that their small action counted, and giving them people they trusted to show them how.
Our solution
The strategic choice was to let creators carry the message in their own voices rather than distribute a global asset. Ruder Finn Era's Vietnam team selected KOLs whose audiences matched the movement's target and worked with each of them on a script aligned to the campaign's key message but written for their own style and platform.
Most of the output was video, produced for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, where the format and the creator's authenticity did the persuading. The content asked viewers to join in with their own impact hour, turning viewing into participation.
